This book is different from the others and I loved it. Both Alpha and Omega are struggling to find their places in the world, and they begin to help each other find their way rather than the rest of the pack helping. Things were tied up nicely but not unrealistically. I’m glad Jesse and Cass WARNED Jacob and Gray what was coming with the heat. They finally learned their lesson. And I was glad that, unlike Jesse and Reece, Jacob’s heat was not triggered by trauma but by contentment and safety. It was a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the story and the new mcs. I liked the pacing and development of the mcs romance. It felt as natural as possible within reason and not too forced upon the readers. I liked the twist of the villain and how everything wrapped up in the end. I hope we get a story with Damon finding his mate, plus becoming more settled in himself. I also wish the betas in these stories could find their own romances instead of just being peripheral workers. Also hoping the new alpha gets his own spin off of a pack.
